TJ “Tomohawk” Stukes on Squid Game: The Challenge played for basketball team Harlem Wizards. The former basketball player is now an assistant sports coach for Northern New Mexico College.
Raised in Mount Vernon and now living in The Bronx, New York, the aspiring actor is now a husband and father hoping to get his hands on the massive $4.56 million up for grabs on the Netflix show.
The 6ft 5in (195cm) star made the decision to retire in March 2023. His basketball career began in Kansas, where he studied at Independence Community College and Pittsburg State University.
TJ Stukes from Squid Game The Challenge played more than 1,300 games as a pro for the Harlem Wizards for 12 years. Overall, he played professionally for 20 years.
His basketball stats involved getting 238 points during his 2007 to 2008 season at Independence Community College, including a 53 percent free throw and 46 percent field goal.
That’s not the only outstanding career achievement, either. TJ has featured in a lifestyle Adidas commercial and fulfilled a role alongside Adam Sandler in the Netflix film Hustle!
Meet TJ Stukes’ wife
TJ Stukes met his wife, Samantha Stukes, at college. Together, they have been blessed with two beautiful children, Amare and Alana Aofia-Stukes, and even work with one another every day.
The couple are fulfilling their dream of coaching at Northern New Mexico College, where they make an impact on young athletes. TJ is an assistant coach, while Samantha coaches the Women’s Basketball team.
